The Art of Home Wi-Fi
Considering we have been in lockdown for a good couple of months I hope you have not had to put up with terrible Wi-Fi for this entire time. However, it is never a bad time to refresh and or learn new ways to improve your wireless at home. One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is which frequency to pick; 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz. You may be wondering what the differences between these two, well the three major distinctions I will be talking about are range, throughput, and potential interference. 2.4Ghz has a much greater range. This is down to the fact 2.4Ghz is lower down on the electromagnetic spectrum than 5Ghz.
